NEB JunctionBridge Builders

Express your interest in becoming a Bridge Builder

Ten minutes of your time. We are not looking for polished answers or any specialised jargon. Come as you are.

What we are looking for is the drive and the connection. A Bridge Builder is a trusted representative of a community not yet aware of and engaged with the New European Bauhaus. You do not need to have prior knowledge or experience with New European Bauhaus. We will evaluate your motivation and the strength of your relationship with the community you propose.

Your answers will be read by a colleague from Democratic Society. If anything is unclear, we will follow up with you before assessing your application.

  • Closes 30 November 2026
  • You hear back 11 December 2026
  • Training starts 27 January 2027

Section 3 of 6 About the New European Bauhaus This information is used to tailor the training sessions and is not part of the evaluation.

The programme is designed for reaching new communities.

Please select one.

Section 4 of 6 The dates

What the programme asks of you

  • 20 January: a welcome meeting
  • 27 January, 3 February, 10 February: three online sprints of 1 hour 30 minutes, 17:00 to 18:30 CET, with an optional clinic the next day
  • 17 February to 17 March: one session in your own community, on a date you choose, in your own language
  • After your session: a short summary of it on a template we go through with you
  • 24 March to 7 April: weekly reflection sessions of one hour

Can you join the three sprint trainings?

If you need to miss one, there is a recording, a written summary, and a catch-up call, so even if you can't join all three, your application will be considered.

Please choose one.

Could you organise one session in your community between 17 February and 17 March?

Please choose one.

Section 5 of 6 Participation We would like to tailor the sessions to your needs as much as we can.

Anything that would make it easier for you to participate: captions, a different time of day, less or more interactive format, caring responsibilities we should plan around.

The sprints and the reflection sessions are in English. You can hold your community session and produce the write-up in your own language. If English is a barrier for you, let us know here and we will talk about what we can do.
